Bring on Cozy Gamer Season! 🍂
We’re officially entering the BEST month of the year for cozy games… Let’s get ready for the big releases coming this month!
Hi hello gamers! It’s officially September, which means the PSL is out, the weather is cooling off, and we’ve got a huge month of cozy games ahead of us.
Not only is it the best time to cozy up with your Switch and a warm drink, but cozy game developers are also working hard to bring us some of the biggest releases of the year. Let’s just cross our fingers that no one else decides to release a cozy game on September 26th…
So here’s your guide of games coming out this month, September 2023:
September 2023 Cozy Games
1. Fae Farm
Arguably the biggest cozy game release of the year, Fae Farm is finally coming to PC and Switch this month!
Escape to the magical life of your dreams in Fae Farm, a farm sim RPG for 1-4 players. Craft, cultivate, and decorate to grow your homestead, and use spells to explore the enchanted island of Azoria!
I’ve been playing Fae Farm early over on Youtube, go check out what we’ve played so far here.
Fae Farm comes out September 8th on PC and Switch.
2. Mineko’s Night Market
Mineko’s Night Market is a narrative-driven, social simulation adventure game that celebrates Japanese culture and invites players to craft whimsical items, eat delicious snacks, and ultimately enjoy all the cats.
Mineko’s Night Market comes to PC and Switch on September 26th.
3. Paleo Pines
Welcome to Paleo Pines, a charming island known for its friendly dinosaurs, quirky townsfolk, and mysterious past. Befriend dinos and enlist their help to fix up your ranch and farm crops to create your cozy dino sanctuary! Then set out with your companion, Lucky, to uncover the island’s secrets.
Paleo Pines also comes out September 26th for PC, Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation.
4. Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos
About 10 years ago, an unprecedented eruption left the Anthos villages cut off from each other and people stuck outside of their villages. Believing that the separated villages and people would one day be reconnected, the Harvest Goddess sent a bottle into the ocean with a letter and a magic key, before falling into a deep sleep.
The game begins with the player finding this mysterious bottle and travelling to Anthos to help restore it to its former glory.
Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos also comes out September 26th for PC, Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation.
5. Rune Factory 3 Special
Bridge the divide of an ancient schism between humans and monsters in Rune Factory 3 Special as half-human, half-wooly protagonist Micah. Farm, fight and fall in love as you revisit a classic in the series that perfected the blend of RPG & Life-Sim genres.
The Rune Factory 3 remake comes out September 5th on PC and Switch.
